Troy Baak, Co-founder / Managing Principal
Troy Baak is a principal of e5 Solutions Group and a leading specialist in SAP Treasury. With 12 years of banking and treasury experience and over 20 customer implementation projects worldwide, Troy provides clients with expertise in the areas of Corporate Finance Management, Treasury, Hedge Management, Market Risk, Cash Management and Electronic Banking. For over 10 years, Troy has continually contributed to the design and success of the SAP treasury solution. This continues today as he actively collaborates with SAP AG and SAP Labs on the enhancement and design of new functionality for the SAP Treasury/CFM solution. Spending eight years heavily involved in foreign exchange trading, Troy brings clients a hands-on expertise and in-depth understanding encompassing interbank FX, derivatives, hedging and international markets.
Troy has been a frequent instructor both in SAP training facilities and at customer sites along with mentoring consultants in the treasury and cash management areas. As a principal of e5, Troy leads the consulting side of the business.

Joe Lincoln, Co-founder / Managing Principal
Joe Lincoln is a principal of e5 Solutions Group and has more than 15 years of experience in the Treasury and Financial Services industry. He has consulted on more than 50 customer implementation projects worldwide, providing in-depth business consulting, finance knowledge and executive oversight to clients across all aspects of Treasury and Cash Management. His SAP consulting expertise spans the applications of SAP Treasury and Risk Management, Electronic Banking, Cash Management and In-House Cash Management. Joe’s project experience and knowledge also includes a broad exposure to and deep understanding of the SAP FI/CO and AP/AR modules, as well as SAP Security & Authorizations. With his roots at SAP, Joe was one of a very select group of consultants focused on treasury and cash management. As one of only two platinum treasury consultants with SAP, Joe worked with numerous clients throughout North America in the areas of Finance, Treasury, and Euro conversion activities.
Joe has been heavily involved in presenting at industry events and “meet the expert” activities as well as providing training on SAP’s treasury modules. Working extensively with the electronic banking developers, he has contributed ideas and solutions for corporate treasury clients and is actively involved in all new releases of treasury functionality through e5’s continued participation in SAP testing. As a partner of e5, Joe is responsible for the operations of the company.

Jaime Ryan, Co-founder / Managing Principal
Jaime Ryan is a principal of e5 Solutions Group and an industry-recognized expert in SAP Treasury Applications. A key contributor to the development and launch of SAP’s treasury solution, Jaime was the first treasury consultant for SAP America and first appointed to the SAP America’s Platinum Consulting area where he led the SAP treasury solution until he left in 2001 to co-found the e5 Solutions Group.
Jaime’s expertise in all aspects of treasury management and his unparalleled understanding of SAP’s solutions provide clients and SAP alike with an in-depth perspective that benefits business direction and solution design. He has been involved in countless implementations worldwide, with specific focus on large enterprise clients that have both centralized and decentralized treasury operations. For more than 16 years, Jaime has continually contributed to the design and success of the SAP treasury solution. This continues today as he actively collaborates with SAP AG and SAP Labs on the enhancement and design of new functionality within SAP’s Treasury modules. More specifically of late has been Jaime’s work on the FX and Commodities Exposure Management, Hedging Instruments and Hedge Accounting in the new Enhancement Packages 3, 4, 5 and now 6.
Jaime provides executive oversight and in-depth business/technical expertise to clients in areas spanning all aspects of Treasury Management, Cash Management and Electronic Banking. He has worked extensively in all aspects of SAP’s treasury solutions throughout its evolution and brings an unparalleled business and technical knowledge of all aspects of in-house cash including payments-on-behalf, target balance sweep loans, interest reallocation and full multilateral-multicurrency intercompany netting. Jaime is a frequent speaker at industry conferences such as the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), SAP Treasury & Risk Management, SAPPHIRE, American SAP User Group (ASUG) and other related conferences.
Jaime is the e5 partner who oversees and is responsible for two important internal groups within e5 Solutions. Peter Wolf, Co-founder / Managing Principal
Peter Wolf is a leading solution designer and recognized expert in the area of SAP Treasury. He has been specializing in SAP Treasury for over 15 years and is one of the founding partners of e5 Solutions Group. Prior to the founding of e5 in 2001, Peter was a Consultant with the Treasury Implementation Group at SAP America. His technical expertise spans the applications of SAP Treasury and Risk Management, Electronic Banking, Cash Management, and In-House Cash (IHC), often referred to generically as SAP Financial Supply Chain Management or simply SAP Treasury. Peter’s project experience and knowledge also includes a broad exposure to and deep understanding of the SAP FI/CO and AP/AR applications, as well as SAP Security & Authorizations.
Peter has led and consulted on over 60 customer implementation projects globally in the treasury area and worked on numerous internal and external projects directly with the SAP development teams in Palo Alto, California, and Waldorf, Germany devoted to development, testing, and piloting of new SAP treasury functionality. In addition to his extensive implementation experience, Peter has led numerous quality assurance reviews, system selection engagements, and fit/gap assessment projects in the treasury and in-house banking areas. With more than 40 of his projects encompassing full end-to-end implementation of broad-based IHC solutions or spot consulting, upgrades, QA reviews, and fit/gap assessments of IHC functionality for centralized AP payments and collections on behalf (POBO and COBO); intercompany multilateral, multi-currency netting and settlement (cash and book); intercompany FX hedging; global cross-company cash pooling; and cash flow loans management, Peter is also recognized as one of the industry’s leading experts on in-house banking, shared service center processing, and SAP’s In-House Cash application.
Peter has been a frequent speaker at conferences, such as the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), SAP Treasury and Risk, and the American SAP User Group (ASUG) annual conferences. Peter has also served as an instructor at both SAP’s North American Headquarters training facility and customer sites in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Peter has served as a regular participant in SAP Roundtable discussions and as a Panelist for SearchSap.com’s Ask the Experts forum. Peter’s formal education includes an MBA degree with a dual concentration in Corporate Finance and Management Information Systems. His previous professional experience includes more than five years of direct, hands-on experience with cash and investment management at a market-leading investment advisory firm.
