Job Description:

Qualified candidates will work on SAP® Treasury & Risk, In-House Cash, Cash Management and Commodities implementation projects at client sites across North America and internationally.  This position’s primary function is to provide applications and solutions consulting to the customer and project team by understanding, analyzing and translating those requirements to enhance, support and facilitate effective solutions through either configuration or team development.   This is a nationwide business consulting position. All candidates must be willing to travel 100% and live near a major airport.

Typical implementation project scope includes; cash management, liquidity planning and forecasting, in-house banking, intercompany netting centers, exposure management and hedging for interest rates, foreign exchange or commodities, debt and investment management, payments, collections and cash application, and bank reconciliation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with full life-cycle project implementation consulting expertise including assessments, blueprinting, system build, testing and go-live stabilization.
• Prepare and facilitate assessment/blueprint workshops to analyze clients’ business requirements. Consultant must be able to explain business reasons for utilizing functionalities and transform them into business SAP best business practice.
• Write detailed functional mapping to SAP applications, functional gap analysis, detailed blueprint design and process documentation and detailed functional specifications for any custom development. This includes integration points with SAP Accounting (FI/CO).
• Prepare summary level presentations and facilitate future state system design and process workshops to obtain client acceptance.
• Perform and/or oversee; configuration of SAP applications, creation of positive/negative unit test scripts, and execution of unit tests.
• Train client staff on design, application functions and configuration.
• Create and/or support creation of integration/user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for user testing.
• Create and/or support creation of cutover plan and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for production migration and go-live stabilization.
• Provide status updates on assigned work to management and, when required, act as a project manager on small to medium-sized projects.
• Mentor and/or oversee other e5 consultants assigned to the project.
• Perform in cross-functional team environments where strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. In certain situations teams may be geographically diverse or involve other non-e5 implementation consulting partners.
• Assume primary internal e5 responsibility for the successful implementation under hard and fast deadlines.

Essential Skills:

Business Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of banking or corporate treasury, commodities or related accounting business processes.
• Solid understanding of two or more treasury areas including cash management operations, investment/debt management, hedging and risk management.
• General understanding of treasury centers, intercompany netting centers, shared service organizations and payment factories.

IT Knowledge:

• Experience in at least three Treasury Applications by SAP: Transaction Manager (including Exposure Management and Hedge Management);  TRM Analyzers (Market Risk, Credit Risk and Portfolio), Cash Management; In-House Cash; Bank Communication Management; and Liquidity Planner.
• Solid understanding of SAP accounting (classic GL and/or New GL, A/P, A/R and Controlling).
• Baseline understanding of full SAP ERP and related SAP software.
• Expertise in implementation project life-cycles including; blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
• Knowledge of SAP project management methodology.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 full years of hands-on project configuration experience with Treasury Applications by SAP.
• SAP implementation experience required.  Project references must be verifiable
• Lead consultant role for at least one (1) full life-cycle implementation including all phases (blueprint, configuration, training, cut-over and post go-live support
• Consultant role for at least two (2) full life-cycle SAP Financial implementation including all phases (blueprint, configuration, training, cut-over and post go-live support).
• Consultant role for at least one (1) full life-cycle SAP Treasury implementation including all phases (blueprint, configuration, training, cut-over and post go-live support).
• Experience in at least three Treasury Applications by SAP: Transaction Manager (including Exposure Management and Hedge Management);  TRM Analyzers (Market Risk, Credit Risk and Portfolio), Cash Management; In-House Cash; Bank Communication Management; and Liquidity Planner.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Economics, Accounting preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred.
• Travel Requirements up to 100% weekdays (generally home each weekend).
• Permanent U.S. work authority required
• Fluent in English Language
