Job Description:

Immediate opening for an experienced Staff Accountant with strong analytical and accounting skills. Qualified candidate must have advanced Excel skills. We are seeking a dynamic hands-on, detail oriented individual. This position will work from a virtual office and will be responsible for general ledger account analysis, accounting reconciliation; payroll processing, time and expense review and assist with employee administration.

Qualifications:

• Prefer experience with payroll processing preferably ADP Payroll.
• Background in Professional Services preferred.
• Involved in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
• Graduate of a four-year college with a degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software.
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with confidential information.
• Home Office with internet access and separate from living area.
• U.S. Resident or valid green card.
